Having been through the process ourselves, we know searching for the right wedding venue can be time consuming and tedious. Endless online searches, a multitude of ‘sorry we’re booked out’s’ and wasted location scouts will leave even the most patient wedding planners pulling their hair out. And, what begins as a big shiny adventure to unearth the venue, quickly pales to an ‘Idon’tcarewherewegetmarriedaslongasithasatoilet’ rant, as you juggle all the other aspects of organizing such an event, and panic takes its grip. That’s why we’ve decided to lend a helping hand, and compile a list of the top wedding venues to host your shindig, in and around Germany’s capital. We’ve included locations ranging from the majestic to the down to earth. And of course, all are perfect for taking some truly stunning wedding photographs in Berlin and Brandenburg :)

Located in the heart of Berlin’s Mitte, Hotel de Rome is the epitome of glamour and majesty. The lavender framed rooftop bar and opera court make it an elegant wedding venue choice. Meanwhile, there’s a personal wedding planner on hand to take care of all the pesky event details, while you lie back and relax in the grand spa. Job sorted!

A self proclaimed music and lifestyle hotel – the first in Europe, reportedly – nhow is located on the banks of Berlin’s Spree. Loud, proud and awash with colour, the hotel features 7 different function rooms, unspoiled views across the river, a rooftop terrace and 2 professional music studios. If that weren’t enough, the unusual architecture is sure to prove a talking point with guests. A definite must for any (budding) musicians out there.
