Stylish and creative
I fuse over 15 year’s photography experience with film industry knowledge (and a love of HBO drama series) to create striking black & white and colour images. Think high-end fashion photography meets grainy magnum photojournalism!
Champagne quaffing, dancers twirling, legs awhirl; promises made, big speeches and small pockets of laughter. With an eye for detail, but always considering the wider picture, I document the key moments of your wedding stylishly and imaginatively. Extremely friendly (so I’m told!), and a master at blending into the background, I’m adept at creating powerful images that expertly capture the atmosphere, and tell the unique story, of your wedding. To accurately fulfil your wedding photography wants, I recommend meeting up before the event. To gain an insight into my moves on the day, check out my Wedding Stories.
Whether a professional or family portrait, or engagement shoot, I combine technical acuity with artistic vision to create striking images that both capture your personality, and the surrounding atmosphere. There’s not much more to say, so I’ll let the photographs in my portrait gallery complete the picture!
For every wedding photography booking I receive, I’ll plant a tree. Not only will each wedding couple have a fantastically branchy buddy dedicated to them, but we’ll be helping the planet stay beautiful! Because regardless of what you believe about climate change, it can’t be a bad thing to become more mindful of this living, breathing organism we’ve inhabited: earth. Both professionally and privately, I try to be very conscious of my impact on the environment. On my FAQ page, you’ll find a list detailing what makes me an eco-friendly wedding photographer. I’ve also included links to other eco-friendly wedding vendors and created some green pinboards on pinterest.
At 16, I discovered photography. After school, and a 6 month internship with a renowned Munich-based fashion photographer, I went on to study photography, film and imaging in Edinburgh. I moved to Berlin in 2008, where I’ve been honing my wedding and portrait photography skills ever since. In my spare time, I work as a cinematographer.
